A little bit of this and that. 417th by ~alexkatana on deviantART ^He is my inspiration for wedding photography and portraiture. He does a lot of post-processing in most of his work but i think it's absolutely fine if you want to make a good photo a GREAT photo. I know of some people who feel that doing major post-processing spoils the essence of photography itself. I believe fresh photos out of the camera is something we can achieve only once in a while. If we're lucky, we get the lighting right, the foreground right and everything is perfect. Most of the times, we're not all that lucky to have clean backgrounds or good weather when we go out to shoot. I do post-process my pictures in Photoshop when i feel there's a need to. Besides, i'm only an amateur so i mess with the levels, brightness/contrast, hue/saturation and occasionally the curves. Most of the pictures i post on my blog are fresh out of the camera, only adding the watermark and borders. Anyway, i really miss shooting though i've been bringing my camera out for the events lately. I'm dying for Saturday to come because i'll be (most probably) sleeping over at my aunt's place with my cousins in JB so i'm really excited! I STILL haven't got to try my Kola colour filters so it'd be a good chance to use them at my aunt's place. Suuuuuppeeeerrrr excited! Also, since i'm going to have an awesome weekend, i'm dying to finish at least 3/4 of my reports by Friday. I'm slacking and getting work done slowly (due to the lack of inspiration) but i've made good progress over my SIP report today and i'm really proud of that! Tomorrow's going to be another day of squeezing these brain juice out because i'm really at a loss for inspiration. I need some so badly ): I really hate it when this happens. Oh well, i just hope i'll reach my aim for this week! Next week's another week for projects in school. Cheers to our so-called holidays! All the way till graduation, nadz! All the way! PS: I really detest it when people don't return a simple 'thank you'. How ungrateful! |

Keep holding on,
because you'll get there eventually. |
