always and forever. ![]() CCN day was a success yesterday, alhamdulilah. All our hardwork has not gone to waste. What's more, Super power 6-7 team ftw! We shouldered the responsibilities and managed to perform better than last year. Such a success. Of course, the credit also goes to the superb juniors who went around to sell. 3 Cheers for B.I.G! We made a profit this year by selling flowers, cactus and providing henna and manicure services. We had a lot of competition but we did it! (; It was the first time in 3 years too that i got the chance to walk around and see other booths. Managed to escape for a while with Bernice. Bought some finger food back for those hard at work; had to feed GG while she was doing henna too. Hehe. I felt quite happy because i never knew that this sort of feeling can actually grow in a year. I mean... friends! It takes a lot to trust and to learn to appreciate. In fact, to grow with B.I.G and form these precious bonds in a year, it feels amazing. I thought one day i might actually submit to defeat because of the problems. But i hung on and because of people from the super 6 team, i got through. And i never regretted anything. Yesterday was our last event, our last meeting together. We unofficially handed our roles and responsibilities to the next committee after CCN. I have a good feeling about this though because all 14 of them are almost as bonded as the 6 of us. Which is seriously miraculous! I feel slight envious about that too by the way ;P They have only known each other for 2 months! Alhamdulilah, i think our bonding sessions and 2 events that they've been together have made them like that. I wish them nothing but the best for this AY and can only hope that their batch are more willing to participate. HAHA! It wasn't easy for the girls (Caroline, Phyllis, GG, Eunice and me) to let go though. You can guess what happened but i'm not spilling the beans here. All i'm going to let out there is how we couldn't believe that it would happen. That we'd actually miss the company and laughter. All that's left now is for us to work hard at keeping the fire alive. Our friendship. It's been a joy being with B.I.G. We shared a couple of things that we have learnt in the past year with the juniors before finally giving them the chance to have their own meeting XD I hope they understood what we meant when we emphasized on,"Don't be individualistic. Be a team player, share each others' burden." I think that's key to well-oiled machine. Also, they're now in Mr Thomas Lee's hands so, i think they'll be fine! (; So, end of our term in B.I.G. *cues tears. |
