an update Toma turns 24 today! Stay healthy~! Woke up early this morning and accompanied my grandma to the doctor's. Blood test and an injection >< Followed her to the market, went back to her place and stayed for a while before heading home. I was worried when i had the task to accompany her because the language barrier (my malay isn't top notch alright) makes it difficult sometimes. But i tried my best today and struck conversations to the best of my ability ^^ I wanted to stay with her longer but i got too sleepy so i went home >< About my trip yesterday... Anyway, i went up to level 7 of the library first. Went to look at History XP Found a couple of interesting books. We never really learnt much of Churchill but when i went there, there were so many books on him. However, i ended up reading (more like browsing though) Princess Diana's biblography and story of her life. I remember i did the same on my last day in MI with Pan Lu in the library; after which i opened the door and was greeted with Roger's awesome chocolate fudge cake. I spent 30 minutes looking at the pictures and quotes and blah blah. Tragic. I believe all of us would wonder why such kind souls like her are lost when they reach their peaks. After that half hour, went down to borrow some books. I ended up borrowing 2 books only. Tried to find Coffee Bean or Starbucks but didn't so ): Ran for the bus and managed to get a good seat. That's all! Good day overall. On a side note, you know how sometimes msn nicknames say something. Even though you might not be close to that person, you start to think of the different possibilities that the person is going through. My friend, if you're reading this, please talk? I sense you've got something to tell. Then, it may not be true at times. I was really thankful to people older than i am. Mr Jack (yes after 3 years i still chat with him) and my godbrother. I think they're such wonderful people who strike up a conversation with you when they realise you have something in your head that you can't relate to anyone face-to-face. Probably heading down to school to submit my PSEA form tomorrow. Right now, would die for Coffee Bean and Famous Amos (because going to school reminds me of all the good food; both in school and at the mall nearby. LOL) PS: I'm hooked onto the Gladiator soundtrack again. Titled Now We Are Free by Lisa Gerrard and Hanz Zimmer(oh how i love you for producing the most wonderful pieces ever - POTC & The Last Samurai) |
