Business School Orientation How lucky! I'm in the same class as Nicholas. I never mentioned him here before but he was my mass dance partner in MI, my fellow clan mate, was my schoolmate, now he's my classmate. LUCKY! XD I'll update more when i get back from dinner. I'm tired! 969 was packed like @#$#@ and i had to stand the whole journey home. Horrible :( ____ Kay back. I woke up at 6.30am this morning and ironed my clothes, rushed off to shower and get prepared. I rushed myself to the bus stop and met Shaowei! HAPPY CAN, even though i didn't show it. HAHA. Finally met a 4EA-ian (?) excluding my dimwits. Then, a minute later, a long 969 bus came and it was packed to the door! I had to struggle and get myself in. Being small is a privilege at such crucial moments, trust me XD I had to remain standing, squeezed and was already sweating a bit by the time i reached Tampines. Got off, saw Nadia Rachael and soon after Eleanor too. THEN i saw my primary schoolmate, Sophia and another guy (i forgot his name). Sophia recognised me! HAHAHA. Was nice to see her even though we never got to be in the same class or whatsoever. You know me. I get all excited whenever i see someone i know (after a long long time) Took the bus to school and everyone had at least a friend with them. Not for me though. I was on my own by the time i boarded the bus. For some reason, i realised i changed. I definitely learnt to be more independent today (: I charged off into school on my own (even though i called Grace once to ask where she was, haha) and did the registration blah blah and headed off to join my class. I passed by Nicholas and said a short hi, wasn't expecting him to be in the same class too XD Anyhow, introduced myself to a few classmates (i don't know if it's just me but i always seem to be the first one to strike up a conversation with people =.=). I met was Adam, then Crystal, Venetia, (one of the girls, i forgot her name -.-), Joshua, Shawn (or was it Sean), Ikah, Aqilah (yay! another scarfed girl ^^), Xiu Chen, Seon, Ryan, Charmaine, and the rest. HAHAHA. It's good enough that i remembered most of their names laaaa. First day only. The guys are tall! Quite random but Shawn (or Sean) looks a bit like our 4EA Edmund and is probably as tall as him too. Why do i keep seeing 4EA-ians in the new people that i meet? There was Michelle (someone i met in FOC) who looked like Eryn, this guy (i forgot his name again -.-) who looked very much alike of my primary school friend, Minghe. Okay that was totally random. LOL. Moving on, the facilitators said there would be games tomorrow. One of them being dragon boating. I never gave it a thought to join though i found it a valuable experience i could benefit from. Then, Nicholas asked me to join him in the event. Without hesistation, i agreed. HAHA. I was so excited since it would be my first time (does canoe count as an experience of dragon boating too? IDK). Anyhow, i decided to join him. I tried to encourage my classmates to join in too (big guys like Joshua, tall guys like Shawn and all..) but none wanted to. So in the end, only Nicholas and i joined dragon boating (from our class) BUT GUESS WHAT. The response from Business School was overwhelming and we only needed 20 people. So i ended up not joining any event XD I don't know about Nicholas though, haha. So, since i wasn't taking part in anything, i decided to go off first and get lunch. I missed the ice breaking session with my class, was pretty upset. After lunch.. we went to a lecture theatre to watch a video then played Battle of the Sexes. Girls won, OF COURSE. :P Then it was mass dance! Messed up a few steps cos' my partner didn't attend FOC, haha. But i enjoyed it as usual. FINALE. Tug of war between the Deputy Directors and SLs & freshies. I forgot who won and all =.= And after we had the last mass dance together on the field, we went home. I was shocked to see how long the queue was. I didn't believe my mum at first when she told me it would be almost endless. At that point of time, i messaged my mum taht i might need to wait for the 3rd or 4th bus. I took the 2nd (LOL) and had to stand up the whole journey again. :'( Poor feet. I'm so exhausted now. However, i AM still excited for tomorrow's events. Cheer? Let's see if my cough is better tomorrow. HAHA. Here's something we chatted about over dinner... Me,"I wanted to join dragon boating leh, but too many people already so i didn't get in." I wanna hug my mum <3 She's been so supportive lately. And lately, she's been asking my brother and me both very funny questions. Mum,"Eat la, why no appetite? In love issit?" MOTHERS. Nevertheless, i still love them all. I just wish my dad would take me seriously some times. Like most of the times when i join him and my brother to watch soccer matches, he'd go,"You also watch soccer meh?" For some reason, i would go all shy (perhaps because soccer is an 'all-boy' thing) and say,"Just watch lor..." One day, he'll know how i feel. I don't like how he thinks girls are not into soccer and stuff guys do at all. GIRL POWER YO. XD What guys do, girls can too. What girls do, guys can do too. See, i'm not being biased. I'm just saying everyone is entitled to their own strengths and opinions. We're all the same even if we're of different gender. And i think my msn's going KABOOM. Some people i've added from games and other stuff, some i don't even remember who they are. XD Oh well. I feel so tired. Another early morning tomorrow. I need to turn in early tonight. Maybe now? :P [EDIT] while we were doing the dance, there was one part where we had to form a circle.. so we did.. and this person who crashed into me from behind, stepped on my feet and unlucky as i was (i wore sandals), he stepped on my feet. now i have 2 huge red (plus blue black) dots on my feet. i would take a picture but it won't be visible. AAAGGHHH, how unlucky. ): |
