What should I do if a friend is grieving?

Your friend has lost someone they love and you're not sure whhat to say or how to act.

TICKS:
- Do say that you've heard about their loss and that you're terribly sorry. Let them know you're there if they need anything.
- Do say that you're happy to listen f they feel like talking but don't try to force them,
- Do think of little things you can do for them that may help, like cooking a meal and dropping it over.

CROSSES:
x Don't say "I know how you're feeling", "You just need time" or "It was for the best" - these are not things people want to hear.
x Don't say nothing or ignore them. It's an easy option but the worst thing you can do.
x Don't tell them ho to grieve. If they want to be alone, then let them be. Be understanding and give her space to mourn.
x Don't forget that they'll be grieving for a long time, so still be there for them six months to a year - or longer - down the track.

Okay, my love life. Haha, he started working! Aww, capable. ^^ Hees, *blushes. I just can't wait to see him next year. I'm excited. He said he misses me. Haha, but you know guys. They always say things they don't mean. But i guess that'll keep me happy and "reddy" for now. Teehees.
