Didn't go for the SL appreciation dinner yesterday - turned out to be a blessing in disguise because i came back and sent my mum to the clinic nearby. Came back at around 10 - there were so many people at the clinic! :/ Mum probably caught the illness at work. The doctor even let me see how bad her throat was >< Came back and the house was still in a mess because my cousin (from my dad's side) came to help paint my parents' room. And because of the strong smell of the paint, mum slept in my room for the night.

My mum kept on asking me if i would take care of her when she's ill in the future. Sometimes i think my parents think too much into the future. Yes, they have to fear the day my brother and i are married off and no one would take care of them. But after countless assurance by both of us that we will do our duties, they still are afraid -___- Of course la, we don't know what the future holds for us, but i think my parents think very far into the future. Not that it's bad though! Because of my dad's proper planning since my brother and i came, we are now living a perfectly average life that we're all satisfied with. Nonetheless, money is still another worry but we will get by, insyaAllah (: Mum always reminded us that they started off with an empty house, to what it is right now. My parents have worked so hard for the family. It's time my brother and i worked hard to thank them for their efforts (:

So much for that random thought! (takes a break and eats ice kachang)

I did it at 12 midnight because i had no inspiration at all! My inspiration (sort of) finally came from.... CSI: Miami. HAHAHAHA. I know... ??!!

PS: I'd rather do something that is pleasing in God's eyes than do something that looks good in the people around me.
