Happy 25th Anniversary! Today's my parents' 25th wedding anniversary! Such a loooong time isn't it? And it will go on forever ;) SO, to celebrate this big day for both of them, my brother decided to prepare a feast for the family. Discussed everything by noon, then i made a present for them and went out in the evening to buy the dishes. I'm officially the worst liar on Earth. Simply because i can't come up with concrete lies to cover up our surprise. =.= But nevermind ^^ I did OKAY, HAHAHA. Anyway, i had to carry home 6 packets of dishes, which means i did some weight-lifting at the same time also. Was so tired, plus, my phone kept ringing(mum asking if i bought anything expensive and told me not to if i was, bro asking how my mum knew - I TOLD YOU I WAS A BAD LIAR!) But the thing is, i didn't tell my mum anything about the surprise. I just told her that dinner would be ready at home so she didn't need to get US dinner tonight. :P Wait...am i not trying to imply that i'm a good liar now? Which is...NOT a good thing..LOL . Skipping on... My parents were really bummed cos' we spent a good $80 on the food. At the end, everyone was really happy. ^^ Bro said a prayer at the dinner table before we dug in to the sumptous meal. I almost cried -.-" Here's some pictures.      They loved the feast and present! "Successful," was what my brother said to me while i was washing the dishes. XD Our first ever attempt to give our parents a wedding anniversary present. I really loved the picture i did for them. On their wedding day, and i added a poem beside it. Love it to bits! HAHA ;) Lately, dad's been worrying about the increase in prices of groceries. And he's saying,"Bread also increase.. don't eat already la. Flour also increase, no need to buy la." LOL. My mum's response? "Aiya, like that no need to eat anything already. Don't always think like that.. Or else? Everyday you eat banana only ah?" XD (My dad loves bananas, have to buy like.. 4 bunches every week -.-") Sigh... i wonder how much the inflation rate would be in future, when i'm like.. 30 years old. It'd be very difiicult =/ Like asphyxiation - so difficult to breathe in this world already. PS: I need to be more ladylike! MORE MORE! I wanted to adjust my curtains so i gave it a mere TUG and the pole fell on my head. >< > |
