{WARNING; Long Post} Hayden Christensen! :D Finally got to go out with Mariame today! It's been quite a long time hasn't it? ^^ We caught Jumper in the morning at YGV. I'd rate the movie 3.9/5 stars. Firstly, i loved the idea and concept of the movie. Secondly, they picked the 'perfect' casting(*yells, 'HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN') and Rachel Bilson(from 'The OC') wasn't that bad either. I've never watched her from 'The OC', but i think she performed well in her role ^^ But i still do protest against the rumours that she's with Hayden. XD Okay, so i admit i liked Hayden way back during his Star Wars days...And it sort of came back to me again today. I kept screaming(ALMOST),"HOT LAAA!" HAHA, gosh this is awkward and embarassing -.-" ANYWAY, i really loved the idea, the effects and the story. Except... at the end of the show, we realised there were a lot of plot holes. (Don't read what's next if you hate spoilers) 1) What happened to Griffin after David left him on the wires(electrical lines)? I still think there are many more plot holes, which stinks really. I know it's difficult to have the perfect ending to a story especially if you have so many things to talk about. There has been many movies like that, so i can't blame Jumper alone for its plot holes. [I think LOTR was the only one without holes, maybe?) OKAY, end of spoilers. Go watch the movie. I'd recommend it actually. ^^ NOT PS: Both of us sobbed actually...when we finally saw the girl who has been casted as 'Bella' (she acts[short cameo only] as the daughter of David's mother - not sure if she's his blood sister in the movie)for the Twilight movie that's coming out in 2010. :( SHE DOESN'T FIT THE ROLE! *Protests that Emily Browning should take up the role. [Turns evil at the same time, HAHAHA] Moving on, Mariame and me went to AMK Hub after the movie in search of her bag and my notebook. And while 'shopping', we ate yoghurt from a shop called 'Yoghurt Place'. It's not that bad, they have many different flavours but soon after, youmigh feel that the yoghurt is a bit too sour(i know it's meant to be sour but... our stomach felt weird after eating them) There's no rum or any meat-related products used - only milk - so we decided to give it a try anyway. :P After getting my stuff, Mariame still couldn't get what she wanted so we travelled down to Toa Payoh. On the way to those shops near the coffee houses, we saw a caaaaatt! Initially, we only saw the mother cat. But when we walked ahead, we saw a whole litter! <3 And so...under the scorching afternoon sun, we snapped pictures of them. LOL. They were too cute for words! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We actually walked the whole round to find Mariame's bag then came back to their 'home' and snapped more. HOHO. And before i leave... You would have probably noticed how identical this layout looks like the one on my livejournal. Was so glad when i found it on blogskins. (still to lazy to make one my own - html codes make me...well, crazy) I made the background myself(no biggy) and altered the codes here and there. ^^ And i'll change the icon on the right every week. But for now, it's Hankyung <3 HEHE. |
