hmm.. Nothing much to blog even though my family and me went to Johor for the afternoon yesterday. Only things to complain about; not only me but a whole lot of Singaporeans at the Malaysian Immigration Checkpoint. Long story short, they should find ways to first improve the immigration system before putting anything else first. The difference between the Singapore and Malaysia one was so obvious.. For Singapore Immigration, we barely spent 10 minutes there and at the Malaysia one, we spent an hour plus in a stuffy area. Fans and air-cons weren't switched on :/ A lot of people were complaining and at that point of time, i really missed home. Not to mention this guy (who squeezed in with hundreds of people JUST to send off his girlfriend and then went off... ?!!) wanted to kill my family and me because we were all squeezing. Sheesshh, some people. ELBOW ME IN THE ARM ALREADY STILL NOT ENOUGH IS IT. The benefit of taking mandarin as my 2nd language came to use -__- He had been elbowing me the whole time until i forced my arm up and blocked myself, hitting his hand in the process (yes i was that mad...) Not only that, he tried to push my brother out of the line (my brother was in front of me). An Indian lady behind my dad was saying,"Some Singaporeans ah, educated but no brain." I couldn't agree less. I don't care if you have a degree or whatsoever higher than that. If you don't have basic etiquette, you don't deserve any respect and whatnot. Enough of that. The escalators weren't even working when we got past the checkpoint........ My brother led us to City Square first where we settled at Kenny Rogers for lunch. Shared a beef bolognese with my mum. Not bad, i quite liked it together with the cheesy chicken my brother ordered. I'll continue later. Have to get to my work now O: PLURK ME!! :D |
