This year is special ^^ It was a bit last minute. I left the decisions to be made by my mum and brother because i seriously have too many things to handle at the moment. But it went well!At the strike of twelve just now, we spammed his handphone and sent him birthday messages XD He didn't realise what was happening and went,"Eh? How come suddenly so many sms one...?" At that time, i was standing right beside him because i was helping him with the hotmail blocked senders thing. So i just went,"I don't know leh..," and strolled back to my room D: Afterwhich, my brother, mum and me went out to the living room where my Dad was and sang him a birthday song. We got him a wallet and a simple birthday card. I think he was touched la XD He was never fond of celebrating birthdays because he thought we should celebrate our muslim birthdays instead. But this year's special (; Some people will know why. He read the card and smiled a lot, that was really nice and heart-warming. My dad's not those romantic type la and he finds it hard to show his affection towards us so seeing him smile like that tonight... So cute ok. HAHAHA

He's going to treat us to dinner this Saturday XD

But for now, time to get some rest after a hectic evening.

Alhamdulilah. I thank God for everything. I thank Him for giving me parents who take care of us and raised us up to become the people we are today. Everything i wrote on the card to dad came from my heart; and i hope he got the message. He may not be someone who gives me positive words all the time, but i know he doesn't have the ability to do so. In many other ways, he has given me encouragement to motivate me. He said,"I saved money for you already, so make sure you make use of that money for your studies." Thank you God, for giving me a family who has my back no matter what. Families overcome storms together, break apart sometimes, but after so many obstacles, almost 26 years in marriage (and forever, insyaAllah), almost 18 years of my life, look where we are now. Thank You, my beautiful healer, God. For making us all stronger despite all the hard times.
