I always find myself on top of the world when i'm with the dimwits (: Was awesome. Simple. Short. Sweet. No words can express how happy i am tonight, thanks to my dimwits. I met up with Maira and Shamz before heading off to school for the annual Passion Arts concert. I was excited because 1) i miss my teachers, 2) i miss seeing performances by the different groups, 3) i was going to see all my dimwits, and it has been the day i've been looking forward to. We reached slightly later than we had to, but we were just in time to catch the beginning of the performance. The first senior i saw was SHEREEN! I totally forgot she was in TP too and gggaaawwwddd, i'm excited to see her in future, HAHAHA. Initially, we couldn't locate the other dimwits (sunny, viva, mariame & kelvin) so we just randomly sat at the back of the hall. But during a short short short interval between the performances, we managed to find them and settled in our seats. I walked passed Sunny but didn't realise he was only 3 seats away from me til the middle of the performance. LOL. I tried to take pictures, i did but the flash did no mercy. No flash = blurry pictures. CRAPPY. Once i get my allowance, i promise myself to start saving for the Canon EOS 40/400D (i'll be satisfied with a 40D, since i'm not doing professional photography). Skipping that, i enjoyed the performances. I have to admit that i missed being in the Chinese Orchestra and i think i didn't tell anyone but... I was half hearted in my decision to quit after the SYF. Hmm, but i did anyway (: Anyhow, they played Matsuri (by KITARO!) today. Reminds me of my time... I think i had to learn the set piece in like... 2-3 days?! We played that for Speech Day i think... Too many performances to recall >< But i will always remember the day we played at the Istana. It's not too vivid, but i will always remember the atmosphere, the applause and whatsoever (: I have always treasured my time in the orchestra no matter how much i had to go through. I guess it just came to a point where i felt that academics + tiring practices just didn't do me good. After the orchestra, i think it was the wushu that performed next. As always, they never fail to make the crowd roar in applause and with all the screaming and blah blah. HAHAHA. I always loved wushu performances. The cutest was the 3 malay boys who came up and did some stunts. SERIOUS, cute. Then, it was the choir. Mmm, what can i say? Honestly, all i can say was/is,"What was Mr Sim thinking?!" Umm, all-black ensemble plus a 'scary-like' song that...really didn't blend into the whole mood of extraordinary colours and happiness... THey 2nd piece was slightly better, but i didn't enjoy it because of the first =/ Up next, the band! Another group that never fails to impress the crowd. Especially the props and their music. It's always very cheerful and fun. Mr Sim should adopt their style, really :( I wasn't sure what song they were playing, but Maira suddenly jumped up (metaphorically, not literally okay!) and started swaying left and right, going crazy, waving her hands up into the air. I swear Viva and i went,"What's gotten into her?!" Nevertheless, we enjoyed it ^^ It was time for the finale. SO FAST :( I was disappointed actually. However, i totally fell in love with the idea of inc operating the 3 dances together. Chinese, Malay and Indian. But ummm, i didn't understand why Ms Chen was dancing together with them...And does she really know ballet? I'm not jealous la, but it's funny leh.. :X I think she did great though, and i bet the crowd loved it. Of course, beautiful teachers deserves high praises. =.= I remembered how my class (those who took geography electives) reacted when they found out that she was going to be teaching them. GUYS, tsktsk. Okay, enough about her. LOL. I loooovveeeeddd the dance! EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. Most of the audience were laughing at the choreography of the indian dance and i don't understand why. I thought it was very...graceful actually. The chinese dance did well as usual, malay dance was good too and indian dance was as good. I don't know why i feel that way, but i think it was because they stuck very well to their traditional dance i guess? However, the music was =.=! It didn't fit the all-traditional feel of a dance. But they made it work anyhow XD After the concert ended, we went to the benches outside the office and oommmggg. I SAW DARLING FAKHIRAH! My adik i so miss. She tickled me at first and i gave in (surprisingly!) then we gave each other like what... 3x hugs?! I miss her so much, we've been meaning to get together one day for lunch but we never found time for it. I teared slightly upon seeing her. Gosh, i missed her! Every morning before we ready ourselves for the assembly, she would come to join us (the area where we lined up in classes) and talk talk talk talk LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH every single morning. Is it ever possible to forget and let go of such fond memories? I say not. (: Soon after, we met Ms Norayu and she decided to treat us to dinner! :D GUESS WHERE! HEHEHEHE. She suggested Swensen's herself! So Sunny, viva, mariame, melissa, pamela, kelvin and i took the bus down to NP and booked a long table for us all. I had black pepper (something) pasta. XD I loved it ^^ And we decided to go for a regular Earthquake. HAHAHA. We talked a lot! Ms Norayu told us how her year had to struggle to find jobs, Kelvin shared with us his college difficulties, our future plans, where the others were heading to next, and we came up with really random topics to begin with. One funny conversation we couldn't help but laugh at, Viva + me + mariame burst out into laughter i tell you. MARIAME ALMOST SPIT HER DRINK OUT (that could've hit either me/Ms Norayu). LOL. To Mariame: Thank you for holding it in, THANK YOU. Did you get the conversation anyhow? Sunny said she was living in her own desktop. WTH, she lives in a computer o.0! FUNNY LA, i couldn't stop laughing for a while and attempted to drink... Attempted...and thankfully, held it in :P I forgot to mention a few things... Like meeting some other teachers... Mr Chye, Mr Brian, Mr Shaiful, Ms Uma, Mdm K! and... some people from our batch. Took a group picture with Mr Chye and Mdm K, waiting for maira to pass them to me ^^ And umm, oh yes! I forgot to mention how Sunny decided that i was his no. 1 fan (LONG STORY) and how Kelvin cam-whored with my camera (SELF-OBSESSED!) and and! Me,"You not man la..." A BIT MAN. A BIT MAN. 0.0000000000000001% man, the other 99.999....% woman. So he finally admitted it himself. Congratulations Kelly Beh Li Li XD I'm tired now, from all the laughing. I enjoyed myself tonight, hopefully we'll meet up again some time soon. Pictures will be uploaded soon. They're up on my computer but my eyes are like -.- now.. Goodnight ~ {x-posted to my multiply} PS: No matter how different i am/i will be, i'd appreciate some respect at least. PPS: Tonight's a night i will cherish and will stay in my heart till the end of time. *hugs everyone. |
