I'm not excited for CNY at all ): After two quotes yesterday and typing out how i felt last night, i actually did continue to think about what i said. And after doing so, i don't think i will look back and take back my words. I took a magazine called XrossRoads when i left the school library this afternoon and there are so many inspirational quotes and stories in there, i feel the need to share. I'll quote from some things there and leave you to think about it (: There are two kinds of people in our purpose-driven world; those who quit and those who don't. Those remembered are the ones that leave an impression. In our effort to keep up with the growing times, adversity has become a part of our lives in our climb to success. We experience struggles and hurdles that need to be overcome. Alongside, we face rejections and discouragement that threaten to bring us down. Our frustrations get the better of us and often at times, the temptation to throw in the towel could get pretty overwhelming. We should accept and embrace ourselves for our flaws by not allowing them to injure us. Instead, we should take our circumstances in stride by injecting humour to them. Failure that doesn't kill us makes us stronger provided we don't develop an awfully negative reaction to it. Tell yourself, "I am only human, i have a right to fail." Besides, failure is necessary for success. Now don't i sound like an old wise woman? DDDD: There are much more interesting stories and articles that will help people like me with the tips for presentations and stuff. Great catch for the day, haha. Anyway, today was so-so except for the headache i got when i got home. I drank cafe latte in the morning because i was so sleepy - it worked but apparently, there are side effects to drinking a can of cafe latte. I should learn my lesson. I will avoid coffee ... FOREVER. Except for Coffee Bean's Mocha Ice Blended :DDDDDDDDDDDD OH and my dad said it's time to change my phone since my contract ended :D Should i though? My phone's pretty reliable...even up till now. Hmm.. AAHHH, i'll think about it once i finish my work -______- |

Keep holding on,
because you'll get there eventually. |
