it was pouring mins ago, but it stopped First and foremost, the release of the Twilight movie has been moved forward to November 21st!! *Excited! And i'm pretty much tired of reading the countless criticisms and hate. I refuse to accept whatever reasons people can MAKE up with because i think books aren't supposed to be taken too seriously and neither do you have to accept what the 'norms' of the book are. It's just a book! It's fantasy, a made-up story! Why can't people just accept Breaking Dawn the way it is? Reasons like "it encourages teenage pregnancy", is ridiculous. BELLA WAS MARRIED AT 18 (hello? people get married sometimes at a younger age) and got pregnant after that. Is that anything wrong? And things like "the book was too feminist!" or like how people say it shows how Bella (assuming she represents the females around the world) is vulnerable and obsessed with Edward (to the extent that she would die for him) is so... stupid (seriously?!). It's just FANTASY! Yes, books can bring about lessons and whatnot. But it doesn't mean that you have to follow what the characters do or feel. What's wrong with the world? What's wrong with these haters? *rolls eyes I had my CSA test today and it was alright. I could attempt all questions but we'll just wait for the result (: I hope i do well. And A for CSA would be delightful ^^ After the test, i went to meet my darlings! Met up with Shamz at the MRT station first and walked to MacDonalds to get lunch. Strolled to Maira's place and when we arrived, the bus Mariame was on arrived too! And at the same time, Maira was waiting for us at the void deck. FATE OR WHAT! <33333 We ate while watching last night's Olympic highlights and then proceeded to watching Kung Fu Dunk. We left about halfway though because Shamz needed to be home by 4 (yes, it's still pretty early, HAHA) and because i have a family gathering later in the evening. Very glad that we finally got together even though it was only for a short time. I LOVE YOU! Let's be this way till we age and die (: I'm so glad to have met you girls and it's wonderful to keep our friendship alive and growing. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! Family gathering later at grandma's place of course! Prayers for the upcoming holy month and insyaAllah for my beloved grandpa too. I wish we weren't as busy to pray together almost every day when we lost our dear grandpa. If God permits, we'll do it again soon (: In addition, i'll finally be able to see my sayangs also! I miss my cousins so much. We always plan to have an outing for girls but we're ALWAYS too busy to meet up. Some have commitments (AHEM), some have work and people like me have school :@ I sure hope that day will come soon. I can't wait for tonight. And... I desperately need a change for my layout. I'm getting bored of it :X PS: Don't rain on my parade. |
