it's a long way home... Today is awesome because it was the first day of the Open House! I met Sabrina on the bus on the way to school then went on to meet Nicholas to take our attendance. Met Hazimah, Bernice and a few other friends i made the other day and it took quite some time before everything settled down and we got our shirts, changed and went to assemble. The shirt is so plain D: But at least we don't need to pay - haha, cheapskate ah. Anyway, i made a few more friends today, which i think is so cool because Khadijah, who's in the same course as i am (i see her around school a lot because we're in the same lecture groups and such) is also Chinese Muslim. VERY COOL k. Her surname is attached as well so i think it's very cool :P Anyway, both of us clicked really easily and we ended up as a pair to conduct the Business School tour. We brought almost 6 groups around the school, informing them about the courses and stuff. It was pretty entertaining because it's like trying to promote our school. Except, we don't force people to pick our school as the first choice DD: Also, i realised CMM is something i would love to do if i hadn't picked BSG. It's super cool okay. Reminds me of the secondary school days - except here, the computers and facilities are much better. Video editing, audio editing, radio broadcast, tv studio, etc. I would've love to join CMM if i knew what they had in store. But nevermind, since i'm here, i might as well get some good out of it(; We did the mass dance in between our duties! This time i did it with Kenneth. Funny thing was.. We didn't know which direction to go. Half of us were going the opposite way but still dancing to the same song D: Only at around the last quarter of the school dance that we realised we should switch positions XD I had fun though! Traditional chicky dance and then followed by the Temasek dance. There were a lot of things that happened today but i'm just too exhausted to relay everything. All i know today, is that i made lots of new friends, had tons of fun and never regretted joining B-guides, that's one thing for sure. Another day of duty tomorrow and then VC duty on Saturday. Excited for VC duty too :D I think i'm going to crash now. Tireddddd. |
