Last 10 days of Ramadhan My dad was saying how my mum should get rubber gloves to cut/cook things. Maybe it's just me but i think what makes a housewife/mother is her hands that smell of raw fish or spring onions or whatever. I'm old-fashioned much? But that's how i think it should be (: I love how my mum smells of fried fish after she cooks - even though the smell gets to me - it makes her more... mother-like. Last 10 days of Ramadhan. How are you going to spend it? I've been slacking over my Ramadhan list and for the last 10 days, i'll try to make it a habit of fulfilling my own promises T_T Remember: What will you do to make this Ramadhan different from last year or the previous years?! But the warm weather is such a turn-off ): I want to go for terawih (night prayers) but it's so warm and stuffy inside. I felt faint a few days ago and took only 8 raakats and went home alone. I didn't dare to stay because i was afraid i might vomit like i did back in Madinah ): It was a horrible experience that i don't want to go through again. Not to mention how inconsiderate and inconvenient it will be when it really happens :/ This actually reminds me of our trip to Mecca 4 years ago. The heat was so.. strong that my mum and i decided to go to the air-conditioned place. We found our way there eventually and realised that we couldn't see the Kaabah ): So we tried to resist the heat the next day and went to pray at the non-air-conditioned area. After flying 8 hours, long bus rides to reach Mecca, why waste this opportunity right? (: But since we're in Singapore, maybe the mosques should turn on the air-conditioning during Ramadhan? HEH. But then again, who's willing to bear the cost! O: Anyway, skipped having dinner with my dimwits tonight because if i do, my dad would be breaking his fast alone. And i just don't feel that it's right for someone to eat alone.. :/ What's more, he's my dad! And my brother was being... funny the other night. ![]() .. PS: Don't cut the shows like he was never there and like he should be damned on this earth! ARGH! |

Keep holding on,
because you'll get there eventually. |
