Well like i've said yesterday, i was excited to collect the letter/mail today. I felt a bit hesitant to walk all the way to the post office because the weather was quite bad - too warm! But i relented and went ahead when i realised it was pretty near. I had to pay a fee of $1.25 JUST because the sender forgot to paste a stamp D: BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. Guess who sent me the letter? Pei Qi! My primary 1 and 2 bestie! My goodness, that girl still keeps my address in her books <3 The receptionist and me were laughing when we realised she forgot to paste a stamp when she sent it out. Hahaha, so cute XD After that, i walked to the bus stop and headed to school. I was smiling like a mad woman; i was too happy for words. And now, i can't wait to write back to her. It's been years ever since we met. And i thought it was touching to be remembered even after a decade or so. My mum's the best. She had a cut-out of my kindergarden yearbook (i think it was something like that) and it had my graduation picture. And since Pei Qi's surname starts with 'O' too, we're only separated by one guy (i don't know he is... hahaha)

Where do i even begin?! The beginning of primary school was very easy because i had friends like Pei Qi, Caroline, Hwee San (who is in TP and i see her regularly too!), Amalina (who travels to Tampines too so i see her on the bus some times) and others like Jinhao and Kenneth. I've totally lost contact with Caroline and Jinhao but they're still in my mind (: Pei Qi was my bestie and we'd take the school bus home everyday. Our bus crew was the best because we had these really cool seniors (Claudia and some others i forgot!) who thought up of the idea of having a back-of-the-bus picnic and we had games and all. I never got bored on the bus. And we had this scary encounter at one of the estates so whenever we passed by, we'd sit quietly and only return to playing when the bus left the area. HAHAHA. Ah good times <33 I'm so excited to write back to Pei Qi. We have like half of our lives to catch up with each other. I was so excited when i got the mail and messaged my mum and dad about it. My mum knows Pei Qi best because we used to go down to her place to pass her the homework when she got ill. And my mum used to see her mum regularly at the market when she didn't work.

Anyway, i boarded the bus to school and halfway through the journey, Felicia messaged me. It was funny because we didn't realise we were sitting back-to-back (i was sitting at the area with 4 seats... if you get what i mean). She told me she was sitting right at the front so i messaged her,"Are you... sitting behind me?" And both of us turned around to look simultaneously. So i ended up travelling to school with her. This daughter of mine was late for HER class and locked her arms around mine and dragged me up the hill. I was so tired and lethargic because of the weather! >< But nevermind, i was glad to see her. Hahaha (: "No ang bao for you this year ah dear. Economy very bad.. so no ang bao." :P
