My heart's full, once again :D B.I.G meeting today - not bad, quite productive. I was part of the logistics team; quite a headache but with a number of heads put together, it went quite smoothly (: Can't wait for the event day itself now :D Met up with my dimwits today. Viva, Sunny and me took a cab down to MDIS at Changi for the job orientation thing. ERRRRRR, no comments. Even if there is, i should keep it within us three :P Then rushed back down to TM to meet Mariame to catch Knowing. [SPOILERS AHEAD!] I actually liked the show; probably because Nicholas Cage was in it. But i loved how the story flowed though the alien part was a bit weird. HOWEVER, most stories that had an ending with aliens and spaceships looked quite stupid. Fortunately, i didn't think this one looked as ... stupid? I'm not putting it in such a way that it sounds harsh. Or maybe i should use the word cartoonish instead. Yeah, i think it was pretty OKAY though i still dislike how some movies mix reality and fantasy together. And the ending was quite weird. Some thoughts at the end: 1) Adam & Eve? 2) So many spaceships, were there supposed to be the other chosen ones from other continents? 3) What planet was that? o.0 Some plot holes but not that bad. Like Sunny and Viva said, i think we would pay for the scenes where the aeroplane crashed before his eyes and also the subway incident. Those were the best parts of the show; albeit it was a bit gross and freaky since you see people actually get squashed before your eyes. The alien parts and the background music was quite horrifying for me. It felt like a horror movie sometimes instead of a thriller. I'm not a fan of anything scary ok! So i was frightened a couple of instances when they appeared in the kid's bedroom - was telling Mariame beside me,"I DON'T THINK I CAN SLEEP TONIGHT READY!! SHOULDN'T HAVE JOINED YOU GUYS FOR THIS!" But i think it'll be okay since we found out they were aliens in the end, HAHAHA. SHOULD BE OKAY LA. If not, i'll wake up tonight and blog... DDD: OK LAME. Rating for this show? 3.9/5 for me. I liked the story but there were some plot holes; though not as much as Jumper. I loved Jumper because of Hayden Christensen but the ending was maddening - left so many questions unanswered. Oh yeah, some scenes that were supposed to be.. scary (i think that was what the actors and director was aiming for) were actually laughed upon. It was so comical that the audience was laughing. And i somehow predict it might be banned in some countries, JUST MAYBE D: Because of the ending part on like.. Adam and Eve. I don't really take them seriously since it isn't a mockery of any religion. It's just a movie anyway! And like i said, it wasn't any form of insult. Checked what the rest had to say online - quite a few bad responses but equaled the number of satisfied ones too. Either way, you should watch it to judge for yourself (: Took the bus back after which. I'm glad i went out with them. Need to see the rest soon also :DDDD Anyway, one of the dimwits is celebrating her 18th today so... , osn. previous next |
