Misinterpretation It's weird how people misterpret God's words. Straight-forward and simple to understand. I went to the forum just a few minutes ago and there was a post on Lil Kim wearing the hijab but exposing the lower part of her body(it wasn't nude, of course). The person who posted those pictures claimed that they were "beautiful and awe inspiring". Her perspective towards the pictures raised many disapprovals among the people who surf the forum. There was one whom i particularly singled out cos' she(as a muslim herself) said that "wearing the hijab is a cultural practice and not a religious law"(God forgive her & me). As a muslim herself, it's saddening to see such people thinking this way. She added that most muslim in the USA do not wear their hijab because of her stated reason. My mind went blank and there were a lot of questions whirling in my head. God specifically said to cover ourselves. From our head, to our feet(leaving out our face and palms). THIS was what God said. IT'S NOT A TRADITION OR CULTURE. God said to cover ourselves to remove any attention from men. Only He knows the consequences of that. It's common sense i should say.. It really makes sense when God commands you to do something because He knows what's going to happen if you disobey. InsyaAllah, this mindset would be removed from all those who think the way she does. PS: Made this quick cos' i had to prepare fooooooooooood |
