Movies I rented a few VCDs a week back. Secret by Jay Chou, Pride & Prejudice, The Devil Wears Prada and The Pursuit of Happyness(i did spell it correctly). I must admit that for Jay's first film, it was quite good. Except that it gave me the impression of the show The Lakehouse with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves(drools~) in it. Nevertheless, it was a good movie. Although at the start of the show, i got irritated by Jay's accent =.= Yea you know him. He sort of mumbles every single word and it makes me itch. LOL Itch like... irritated. REAL IRRITATED. I stopped after watching for 4 minutes. But the next day, i tried to ignore his %&$*^ accent. It got better slowly though. :) And his piano skills are amazing! <33333 The music in the show is awesome too! The roles fit perfectly. Pride and prejudice also made me itch because of the accent. But i looove Briton accent. So yummy. HAHAH! The show was quite blah, but i liked it somehow. Keira Knightley fit it well do, though i felt she looked awful with such hair =/ The Devil Wears Prada. Meryl Streep was destined for the role, i tell you! She evoked the emotions superbly and Anne Hathaway too. Like many reviews have mentioned, the clothes in the movie is love. XD A nice pinch of romance in the movie too - makes Adrian Grenier look real hot XD The Pursuit of Happyness. jayden Smith was so cute! But i think he still has room for improvement on his acting :P The movie was touching and valuable. However, i felt as if i've watched the show before thus i didn't cry or anything although there were some parts that made some people shed tears. Hmmm.. When i settle my financial things right, i'm going to rent some more. HEHEHEHE! There are so many other shows i need to watch! And a few DVDs that i want to add to my collection at home. Some of these are old-school movies, Little Rascals, Grease and maybe the whole set of Home Alone. :D:D:D:D Must drop by HMV(is that the name of the store?) someday and get my hands of them. OMG YAY! My mum cooked ASAM PEDAS(super spicy fish...some sort). MY FAVOURITE! *RUNS TO KITCHEN AND PRANCES AROUND LIKE A MAD RABBIT. Will be gone till 21 Nov for class chalet! Pictures till then :D:D BYE!! |
