Nothing much for now.. I don't have much to blog these days because life's become very routined and thus, mundane. But what's interesting these days is the upcoming election. I've not come of age to vote yet but debates and campaigning makes me interested. I'm the sort of person who would want to vote because i believe everyone can make a difference. Not to mention that i've been brought up in a family who always voice out our personal opinions (those that are agreed upon or disagreed). The fact that my parents discuss and debate openly about the current environment keeps me interested in such things too. I may not know much but if only i had more time and resources to learn, i would definitely admit that it's one of my interests. Elections are just around the corner so i'd be interested to see what the candidates have in mind. In my opinion, every Singaporean is concerned about the rising cost of living. I think it's getting way out of hand. And as my mother puts it,"It's like the prices keep rising so i have to keep working and working, never knowing when i can stop because the prices keep increasing." When such things come into mind, i'm really thankful that my parents are extremely thrifty. We don't live a life of luxuries and we only go on trips when we can afford it (that is once in a decade). When i was much younger, i hated the fact that my parents were selfish to spend their money. But now, it's made me realise the benefits of saving. If not for my parents' strict opinions on saving, we could not have pursued further education. We're barely there. We're an average Singaporean family who tries very hard to make ends meet. And i'm proud of my parents. Have i mentioned that i love them though i do get mad at them? (: |

Keep holding on,
because you'll get there eventually. |
