packed! I finally received the letter from the Youth Group yesterday, alhamdulilah! I'm excited but at the same time (as always huh?) feel slightly burdened with the overwhelming activities. Still considering if i should take up Business Calculus because of this. Now i've got a quite a lot on my hands, B.I.G, VC and MINDs Youth Group. I hope i can manage my time properly. I've also come to a realisation that i'm being surprisingly very optimistic nowadays. But hopefully that doesn't mean overconfident D: Met up with my public speaking group yesterday, Anisha and HuiTing. Early morning at TM Starbucks! We got our work done very quickly with some random chats in between. Really hilarious and random things that's supposed to be kept within girls only XD Then came the talk about religion. Different people have different views so no matter what people feel (like HuiTing who's an atheist), i respect her decision. Even though as a Muslim, i know that it's only right to tell her that it's wrong to think that way. However, i personally think that we don't have a say in who should convert to whatever religion. I believe that God will eventually lead him/her to the right path is He wants to. Yes, we can all try to advise our friends, but i will NEVER force someone to embrace my religion. I don't think it's right ethically. Also, if you think about it... if he/she is being forced, it won't be a sincere conversion wouldn't it? Honestly, the chats we had yesterday really helped me see my attitudes towards different people. And i'm glad to find out how i really feel. And i truly respect HuiTing as a person because she's one smart girl (she reads so many bookssss omg, she can tell you why the sky is red...) and someone who will stand up for her own opinion. And to that lady to told her that "You will die in hell", let God decide yes? No one is guranteed Heaven anyway, unless He wills. T____T Went to Causeway Point after that to meet Mariame for a very last minute movie. We watched Drag Me To Hell. OMGGGG, i don't want to ever watch another horror movie. Viva said it was funny and scary at the same time, i would agree. Though for 2/5 of the movie, i closed my eyes D: Thankfully it didn't leave me any bad memories that would keep me from falling asleep. I think it's just the effects and the sounds. But whatever... I'm not going to make myself watch another horror movie. LOL. Off to complete some schoolwork that should be done earlier this week. |
