Plain Truth The truth always hurts doesn't it? But what if you have to face it alone, withstanding all the blows that you receive each time you think about it. You try to fantasize about "it" not being there but when you come back to reality, "it" is there. You try to "miraculously" forget everything that has happened to cause such a consequence but to no avail, only leaving you with thoughts of covering "it" up with your selfish stories. If you intend to hide "it", would the rest suspect anything? - you wonder. Since we live in an unparallel world, what would others think of you? They suspect, assume, then as soon as they realise you lied to them, they start to avoid and criticise you even further. Sorry if i was typing some crap. But even though i'm only 1/4 through Picoult's Plain Truth, i can't turn another page without thinking about the consequences Katie(the main character) would have to face eventually. Such a faith that upholds its rules without fail, a faith that barracks unmarried men and women(which all faiths do actually) from many things(you should know it yourself), will they accept her for who she is and what she has done? What would you do in her position where no one would know the real story but you? Would you stand up in court and keep denying(assuming that you're not in a psychotic mental state) even though they have evidence that significantly unravels the intricate details of the truth? Sorry, more crap. -.-" You may not understand what i'm saying(probably some alien language to you), but it's all in the story. Expected as always, Picoult's books are awesome!! :D PS: Has it strained our friendship? How far will this last? Will it be forever like we promised? Sorry, i don't feel like talking to you at the moment (: Be understanding please, just for this period of time. And i will give my thanks to you. |

Keep holding on,
because you'll get there eventually. |
