saturday, how i long for you. The weekend is finally here! I bet everyone's extremely tired from this hectic week. Lectures squeezing in my schedule and i come back at 10 at night :/ Anyway, the weekend is here and it's time to catch up on my work and some rest too. I finally got hold on my Twilight Movie Companion Guide and also after a year-long wait for the pictures, the IFC^2 pictures are here too :D Thanks Mariame! Don't think i'll blog that much today. I skipped the family gathering this evening because i have tons of work to do (accountings mostly!) and i'm glad to finally be able to sit down at my desk for hours to complete my work. At least i'm occupied, rather than doing nothing. There's another reason why i skipped it. But let's not go there. All i know is, i should not give anyone any sort of advices unless they want it from me. My mum always said this,"If you don't want to listen, it's fine with me. But if you do, you will learn and benefit from it eventually." That's the sentence she always uses whenever she tells me off if something i did is wrong. It has never failed to make me reflect on what she has said and she is always right in the end. So... Now it's not up to me to change you. I've learnt that if your pride always gets in the way, you're never going to learn and grow. Even though i skipped the gathering doesn't mean that i'm admitting defeat; because i know i'm not in the wrong and i didn't have any intention to burst your ego. I had one thing in mind and it was to hope that you would open your eyes and see where you have gone wrong. Mum has been helping me in this situation. It almost feels as if i'm taking over her place now. My mum's given up on trying and besides, she's been too tired to do anything lately. So there you go (: I hope everything will be fine soon. Here are a couple of pictures to share.   Oh and if you read yesterday's Urban, you'll find a small piece on Bella's prom dress on page... 20 i think :D:D:D:D Alright now, back to work. PS: The preproduction of Twilight involved so much work despite the budget. Makes me more excited to see what they have implemented in this first Twilight adaptation. December 18th quicckkkk! |
