Studies or Leadership? I have another topic to discuss: Concentrating on your leadership stuffs rather than your studies. Okay, i know leadership is important, but what's more important than your studies? I mean.. Before you can attain leadership, you have to be well-educated ain't i right? Well, not necessarily, but most likely, managers/bosses would most likely pick educated ones to be a leader. But in my mum's case, well, she's not as smart as those university students, but she had the right working attitude, the right way to do her work, that's why she was picked to be a leader. I have some friends but one friend in particular. All she goes to school for is to do her job as a leader. I know it's right, but during classes, (i go to the same chinese class as her), all she talks about is leadership camp, leadership jobs, leadership events. I went *gawd,is that all you talk/care about? You might think, oh well, this isn't your business. Yes, i do agree. But.. le sigh..What's the first and important reason you go to school for? Of course, learn, study! I don't disagree that leadership is another important thing. But studies come first ain't it? Without education these days, you won't be able to succeed and live under a roof. Well, unless you have a lot of luck. I do respect her for being good in her leadership stuffs, being responsible for her work. But her attitude is really bad. And I really mean it! Talking back to the teachers, and i still remember, the first day of school! First day okay! Secondary one, 2 years ago! I partnered her in the assembly period, and she actually rolled her eyes at me, i went.. WTF! The first impression told me that she wouldn't be a good friend. It's not the book cover that i saw. I saw the story inside. You know what i mean? Oh well, i'm going to enjoy my Hari raya Haji today with my cousins. I hope you guys enjoy this day of sacrifice too. Peace out! toodles! |
