Unofficial Graduation It was our last day of school yesterday. No more lectures, no more tutorials and no more projects till we get a place in a Uni, insyaAllah. While many had mixed feelings, I was mostly sad. TP has given me the best 3 years that i can ask for and if I were asked to promote my school, I would gladly volunteer to do so. It lives up to it's testimonials on how TP is such a vibrant and lively poly. Look at how we have small events every single week. During my last semester in TP, there were LAN gaming competitions outside the library, WII games, bands, solo singers and the list goes on. There is always something or someone promoting their club or events outside the library. Oh did i mention that the best part of being in TP is the fact that EVERYONE bumps into just about ANYONE from EVERY SCHOOL? It's because of the 'semi-circle' concept that our school adopted as part of their infrastructure that makes it so cool. And i believe most of us will say that the 'mushroom' is something we will miss very much. I will miss texting my friends 'hey, let's meet at mushroom at 1030 k!' It's a central podium where friends meet before heading to their destination together and it's really cool since it's centralised and easily identifiable. I'm proud to be a TP student. I have made great friends whom i believe, will stay close to my heart till the end of time. I have been given the opportunity to step out of my shell and become someone who can face any circumstances. At the same time, i managed to find 2 clubs that developed me as a person and hone my skills and passion. And i'm proud of that. I'm proud of my school. I'm proud to be part of Temasek Polytechnic! PS: Pictures to come at a later date. I'm feeling sickly and i don't feel like posting them up now :P |
