Over the past few days, I have read things on the net that have disgust me to extreme ends of the world and cause me to be somewhat emotionally disturbed. How can people be so selfish and narrow-minded? There have been videos going around about how the Japanese have been killing whales and whatnots to sell their meat in markets. And these people who post such videos up exclaim loudly,"Serve them right! They deserve the earthquake because of all these killings and inhumanity."

Who are we to judge? Are they the only ones doing this? Are the Japanese the only people in the world doing such inhumane things? Also, it is God's will and only His to decide how to punish. How are we sure that God created the earthquake and tsunami to 'punish' the Japanese? Who are WE to say such things when our beloved Prophets have NEVER proclaim such events to be punishments by God? We, lowly servants of God, comprehend disasters as God's way of punishing us for our deeds. Rather than using the word 'punish' though, like people in the right mind would say, it is a reminder to all of us. Of God's greatness and power. Of His presence.

The least we could do is pray for our fellow muslim brothers and sisters. And for the country to recover quick. Isn't praying better than accusing for things that we are uncertain of? You are creating fitnah! Yes God punishes, but we are all to blame of the bad things on Earth. For we are the ones who have taken His Grace for granted. To put the blame solely on the Japanese is ridiculous and plain immature.

Not to mention those pranksters who started the sms hoax about radiation in the air around Asia. People should really think before they spread such awful and insensitive remarks. Japan is so far from us. If the radiation spreads to us, i'd rather you say that the whole world will die. Please. Particles will travel and it will be absorbed into the oceans before it can actually reach us. Especially since they're not in large amounts. What worse, the whole Japanese community will vanish.

I'm sorry but these people should deserve a tight slap in the face. Why are we doing this? There are millions of lives in danger while we have a scrumptious dinner at the table with our loved ones. It's so immature!

I'm not saying that i'm the most mature. I'm only 20 and i have a lot to learn. But it's so basic.

Makes me wonder how people can be so cruel and ridiculous.

Instead of spreading nonsensical news around, SIT DOWN AND PRAY OR DO SOMETHING TO HELP. If you refuse to do either that, then just shut up about it. You're not providing any form of help or comfort spreading such hoaxes.

On a different note, job hunting can be such a chore. But i have to do it! Need to find a job and not waste my 3-4 months at home. InsyaAllah, rezeki will come soon.
