Weekend Getaway The weekend getaway to my aunt's place in Kulai, Malaysia was a great one. My huge family made it one of the most memorable outings in 2010, as always. They went there before but i couldn't make it because of school or something like that. So when i finally got there on Saturday morning, i was overwhelmed with the way my aunt decorated the house. It was B.E.A.UTIFUL! The fact that she installed a gazebo in her backyard was a plus too! It was a place everyone was attracted to; outdoors + shelter from the sweltering heat. She installed a ceiling fan too :P Upon arrival at her place, we had breakfast first! My aunt cooked mee rebus which was super yummy even though she kept apologising that there weren't any eggs. XD After which us cousins drove out to the mall to get some supplies. Before we actually did the grocery shopping though, we walked around the mall to scout for bowling games. Afterwhich we saw an arcade and decided to race each other! Played 2 games of racing (i was 2nd last for the first and 1st for the second game)! HAHA! We played another game before doing the real shopping :P We went back to the house after that and relaxed for a while before heading back out again! We drove around the neighbourhood to find new places and we found a gorgeous park with a pasar malam. So we hung around and had an impromptu picnic; the weather was good! Got back to the house by sunset. Within the next hour, we went out again to the bowling alley and played 4 games! It was only my 2nd time in my 19 years bowling! It has become an addiction now i think. I want to go bowling again soon! :D After the bowling madness, we came back at around midnight and did some light painting photography with the sparklers that my aunt bought :DDD Can't wait for my cousin to upload the pictures! PS: Didn't want to post this up because my mind's not in the mood to correct my grammar or choose proper vocabulary so, don't mind this horrible post. |
